KaBlam! Wiki

The Adventures of Patchhead (stylized as The Adventures of Patch Head) is a live-action/green screen segment created by Greg Harrison, seen on the Nickelodeon animated sketch comedy series KaBlam!. It appears twice on the show, via the episodes "KaBlam! James KaBlam!" (in Season 2) and "The New Class" (in Season 3).

The plot revolves around the adventures of a young boy named Patch Head, who wears a watermelon shell on his head and lives in a southern community filled with many zany inhabitants.

  • Patchhead and Lava! are the only non-regular segments on KaBlam! to span over two seasons.
  • Nick Offerman, prior to his later fame as Ron Swanson in the NBC comedy Parks and Recreation, stars in the segment as antagonist Kudzu. Offerman talks about this experience in his 2013 autobiography Paddle Your Own Canoe: One Man's Fundamentals for Delicious Living.
  • Even though only two short films aired on KaBlam!, five were created. All of them can be found on Gregory Harrison's official website.
    • In addition, the segment on "KaBlam! James KaBlam!" is called "Teed Off" but due to time constraints, the title was cut. "Teed Off" also had some scenes edited out because of the time constraints. Both "Teed Off" and "Demolition Mission" (the latter seen on "The New Class") had most character voices rerecorded when aired for KaBlam!.
