"KaBlam! Gets Results" (S1E5 on Paramount+) is the seventh episode from the first season of KaBlam!.

Synopsis[]

June learns self-defense in response to assassins and spies infiltrating the comic book, although Henry isn't thrilled. Henry gets himself into a "sticky situation" with bubble gum and June has an evil robot twin! At the end, the two co-hosts reveal their "KaBlamshake."

In Sniz and Fondue, Fondue becomes a germophobe, and isolates himself from his best friend Sniz and the rest of the world in a bubble!

During Action League Now!, the Mayor kidnaps the Flesh and unleashes his newest weapon, RoboFlesh...a robot designed to look exactly like the "super strong and super naked" one, except for bolts sticking out of his entire body. RoboFlesh goes into attack mode on the Action League, who is having a parade until the actual Flesh comes to the rescue. What makes things worse is the League cannot differentiate between the two!

In Life with Loopy, Loopy and Larry's goldfish has died. While Larry is old enough to handle that kind of tragedy, Loopy isn't ready to say goodbye just yet!

During Prometheus and Bob, Prometheus teaches Bob how to shelter himself from harsh weather!

Surprising Shorts has two for the price of one in Lava!. In the first installment, a hyperactive puppy and a sleeping dog are featured. During the second installment, a barking puppy makes its presence known at a sheep farm!

Henry and June Act 1
Henry&June Ep.7 Karate Henry greets everyone before looking for June, just as she flies in with a roundhouse kick to a coat rack and tears up the coat hanging on it! Henry assumes an explanation is forthcoming, and June says she's learning self-defense, because the pages of KaBlam! are aswarm with assassins and spies. Annoyed by this, Henry generates a thought balloon that calls June a "moron" before she shatters it with a kick! June then wants Henry to portray Loki, archfiend of Norse mythology and archenemy of the mighty Thor. At first he refuses, but her pleading convinces him, as long as they can start the show after. Henry presents an "evil cloak" (the torn coat) to June, and she runs away! Henry thinks so much for self-defense, and begins to introduce the first cartoon, but June attacks him from above and finishes the introduction with two guys who put the "mental" in fundamental, Sniz and Fondue.

Sniz and Fondue
Sniz&Fondue Squeaky Clean

Squeaky Clean

At breakfast in the kitchen, Fondue asks Sniz what movie they should go see next. Before Sniz can answer, he sneezes all over Fondue's food! Fondue is not happy his cereal was contaminated, but Sniz pleads that his sneeze is nothing compared to the bacteria and filth Fondue breathes in every second. Fondue doubts it, but Sniz proves his case by showing a Klassroom Klassix film, What Lives On You. After it ends, Fondue worries he has bugs on him, but Sniz says everyone does because they're microscopic and...nasty! The next morning, Sniz wakes up to see that Fondue has become a germaphobe and living inside a bubble in his bedroom. He explains that it pumps 100% germ-free air, removes all traces of dust and has three premium channels of television, the latter including a free tote bag. Sniz wants entry, but has to wear a special suit. As he removes his helmet, a contamination alert sounds and Fondue removes Sniz immediately from the bubble. Sniz then goes outside to play in the mud and Fondue can only shudder in fear. Fondue then plays a game of "Contortion" (parody of Twister) by himself but gets distracted after Sniz is getting an ice cream cone from Lactose Queen. Fondue is at first in awe after Sniz's ice cream falls apart, but then he scoops the fallen remains back onto the cone and eats it, as Fondue nearly hurls in disgust! He then plays a game of "U-Boat" (parody of Battleship) by himself, but quickly becomes sad while realizing he is all alone. Sniz is outside playing with a mud lookalike of himself on a seesaw, but he becomes sad about being alone, too. Fondue then tells Sniz that it's all clear to him now, and he's through being afraid where "in this life, you just gotta dive in, head first." However, Fondue overshoots the landing and ends up in the town dump, much to his fright!

Henry and June Act 2
Henry bursts the Bubble Henry says there's a lesson in Sniz and Fondue for all of us. June agrees; everyone should get their own bubble as those things are cool! She then blows a huge bubble-gum bubble to fit inside. Henry tells everyone to forgive June, as he tries to pop the bubble first by using his finger, then a pencil, but both attempts fail. As a knight struggles to grab a sword in a pedestal, Henry steals it from him and slices up the bubble, before getting caught in it. The knight tries to reclaim the sword before getting stuck in the bubble, as well! June thinks there's a lesson there for all of us. While she'll get Henry out of his "sticky" situation, the viewers can watch the stars of Action League Now! get into theirs.

Action League Now!
Action League Now! Roboflesh

Roboflesh

At Countertop Fitness Center, the Flesh is getting a workout in. He then smells something good in a lunchbox, deviled eggs! As the Flesh digs in, the Mayor locks him in the lunchbox. The Mayor then reveals a new Roboflesh from a dishwasher. During a parade, the Action League are celebrated for being the best superheroes in the world. Stinky Diver complains that he's missing Baywatch while Meltman says maybe the League showed up a bit early, because there is no one attending the parade. The Mayor summons Roboflesh to stop them in their tracks with a cinder block. Meanwhile, the real Flesh engineers an escape via the lunchbox and is freed after a car hits it. However, he then gets hit by another car. Back at the parade, Roboflesh tosses the cinder block at the League's float, and Thundergirl thinks the Flesh is mad about his year-end bonus, as the Chief suspends him. The real Flesh shows up and engages in a showdown with Roboflesh. As the League ponders which Flesh is the real one, the Chief asks both of them what the organization's password is, them both answering "deviled egg," which is incorrect. The real Flesh and Roboflesh battle in several environments including a barbecue, a cactus and a swimming pool. They finally battle at a blender, with the real Flesh losing strength. Stinky gets an idea by calling both of them "stupid" and the real Flesh reacts, helping the League determine who to eliminate as Stinky uses his spear gun on Roboflesh, who falls into the blender and is cut up! Later that day at the parade, the Flesh wonders how the League was able to find out he was the real one, with Stinky thinking no one's more boneheaded than him. The Flesh thanks Stinky, before accidentally knocking Stinky into the street and a car runs him over!

Henry and June Act 3
Henry&June Shrinking Robot Henry tells a joke before noticing June didn't laugh at it, who is actually Robojune, her robot twin. Henry doesn't believe her, and requests that Robojune demonstrate some of her extra special "robo-powers," which she does by shrinking him. June then shows up and Henry, now in the palm of her hand, begs her in embarrassment to go to another cartoon. He is then accidentally squished by June after she cups her hands together! Robojune, ordered by June, lasers the page to Life with Loopy.

Life with Loopy
Life with Loopy Goldfish Heaven

Goldfish Heaven

Larry Cooper, a 12-year-old, introduces himself, his 7-year-old sister Lupicia Cooper (but she goes by "Loopy") and their parents. Larry says Loopy gets some crazy ideas in her head sometimes, especially a week ago when their pet goldfish died. Larry is old enough to handle that kind of thing, but Loopy starts throwing a fit! Mom says the goldfish must be flushed down the toilet because that is where "goldfish heaven" is located. For the next few days, Loopy gets fixated on the subject while Larry, Mom and Dad are watching The Charlie Chicken Show on television. Loopy then makes an announcement that she has disguised herself as a goldfish and is going on an expedition to find goldfish heaven, which the family is OK with. Larry explains that when Loopy says she is going to do something, she usually does it, so he figures that someone has to keep an eye on her. Loopy locks the bathroom, however, so Larry sits outside it waiting for her to return. An hour later, Loopy tells all about her journey, swimming for miles down the twisty turning pipes. The pipe then ends, and she arrives in what she calls the most beautiful place she's ever seen, swimming past thousands of goldfish angels and into a cave where she finds two goldfish conversing, one of them who was Loopy's. He encourages her to leave because he's "having the time of his afterlife." At the end, Loopy and Larry go shopping at Donut Heaven, which she is curious about if that's where doughnuts go when they die, but he says they're never alive to begin with. Once again, Larry says his sister gets some crazy ideas in her head sometimes, as the doughnut in Loopy's hand comes alive!

Henry and June Act 4
Henry's chilling up Henry relaxes in a hammock with a drink and introduces the next cartoon, Prometheus and Bob, as the page is automatically turned.

Prometheus and Bob
Prom&Bob Shelter

Tape #57, Shelter

Prometheus is teaching Bob how to construct a storm shelter. After it is put together, Prometheus tells Bob to crawl into it, but it breaks in half. During a rainstorm, Prometheus puts it back together, but Bob is now more interested in sleeping under Prometheus's spaceship, occupied by Monkey. Bob kicks Monkey out who goes into the shelter, scaring Prometheus. As Prometheus creates his own shelter, all three have their own until Bob shows interest in Prometheus's, where he is pushed away, and then enters Monkey's. Monkey climbs into Prometheus's spaceship and drives it into the ground, blowing away the other two shelters. The next day after the rainstorm, Prometheus looks at the hole in the ground before being pushed down it by Bob, before Monkey brings Prometheus and his spaceship back up, just before it explodes. Finally, during another rainstorm, Prometheus, Bob and Monkey are all taking shelter together under the damaged spaceship.

Trivia[]

  • The Life with Loopy short film in this episode is its pilot.
  • Lava! and the Surprising Shorts bit proceeding it were both removed from Nicktoons syndications due to the rights for the former expiring after originally airing on Nickelodeon. This episode, after being made available for streaming on Paramount+, omits Lava! and Surprising Shorts.
  • This episode contains the longest credits music, even more than that of Season 1 episodes "Your Real Best Friend!" and "All Purpose KaBlam!," about the length of the phonograph playing the show's theme to the end of the credits in "Not Just for People Anymore!."
    • This is even longer in international airings as a certain part of the music loops once due to skipping Lava! in the credits, thus giving more time before the KaBlam! logo explodes. These credits can be seen here.
